Some other cables in this price range have been known to allow EM interference to degrade the signal, however this cable is shielded all the way through. Very excellent, high quality cable. Delivers a very strong signal. The picture is crisp and clear and the price is far below any of the "brand name" cables. Even if you aren't on a budget I would choose this cable simply for the quality.
It's your basic monitor cable. It works great.Best price around,too.
Although plugging the audio cable interestingly reduces the amount of ghosting, it is still unbearable. I bought this cable to connect an HP 2159M LCD panel to a Lenovo T61. I'm experiencing high levels of ghosting. Lastly, it does not have ferrites as shown in the picture. I don't recommend this cable with high resolution new generation LCD panels.
I plug it into my mini display port to vga connector and hook it up to the tv and it works just like that. Got this a day earlier than I expected and it works great. I use it to hook up my unibody macbook to our 46 inch lcd. Text is super readable, the quality is as great as looking at my laptop screen. And totally worth it because the big box stores want $25 + for the same sized cable.
